Membership Details

Fountain City Roller Derby offers many types of membership.  Here is a breakdown of the memberships.


Dues:  You have three options on how you would like to pay.  The monthly paying option is $35 per month.  The quarterly paying option is $90 every three months.  The yearly paying option is $330 per month.  Everyone pays the same dues regardless of your membership type.


Membership Types:


Practice Only:  Come to as many or as few practices as you like.  You may scrimmage if you have passed your Class 3 skills.


Zombie/Recreational League:  This is a non-competitive league.  The teams are not set and they will be different each month that the Zombie League plays in.  Minimum practice requirements are six hours a month.  Class 3 skills required.


House Teams:  Four highly competitive women's house teams (Shotgun Sheilas, Deadly Sirens, Royal Pains and Lovely Lethals).  These teams are drafted in December and will have four games during the season.  Minimum practice requirements to play are eight hours per month, but most coaches will expect more from you.  Class 2 skills required.


Coed Teams:  Three competitive coed teams (Usual Suspects, Public Enemies and The Untouchables).  The teams will be drafted in December and will have four games during the season.

You may play on Zombie/House/Coed at the same time.  The membership dues stay the same.


Other types of membership:


Ref Membership:  There are no dues, you may come to practices, you have to pass a written ref test and you are expected to be available to ref at scrimmages and games.


Non-skating Official:  There are no dues, you help out during game day and receive free admission to the games.
